If you happen to take a trip to Boothbay of Lincoln County, you might just stumble upon this majestic garden known to the public as Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. There are plenty of fun features here, including:
- The gardens, of course! There are plenty of different exhibits and various gardens to see at the CMBG. Each one has its own variety of special flowers and plants, each designated by a plaque. They all make for beautiful scenery.
- A few trails available for visitors to hike. Each one ends at a unique experience, so it's worth taking the trek.
- 5 Senses Garden. This allows visitors to test all five of their senses, even taste on occasion! There is a whole community of gorgeous plants and flowers, as well as a wonderful pond and waterfall.
- A Children's Area. This has a collection of attractions made just for kids, such as the Story Barn, Maze Lawn, Treehouse, and pond with an interactive rowboat.
- A gift shop and cafe. If you need a break during your visit, customers may stop by the gift shop to purchase souvenirs for their visit to the Botanical Gardens. Or, if they are craving a source of food, the cafe is open with both an indoor and an outdoor location. It's perfect for an entire day at the park when you will need lunch.
